Buttercup gritted her teeth, feeling the familiar surge of power in her small arms. With a battle cry that echoed off the skyscrapers, she launched herself upward, wrapping her hands around the massive steel leg. Muscles straining against gravity, she held the multi-ton limb steady while Blossom and Bubbles secured the civilians below. The ground shook, but the girls stood firm, their tiny frames defying physics to keep the city safe.
